Assam Counselling Process 2026
- Assam NEET (MBBS & BDS) counselling is conducted online, and to be a part of the DME Assam counselling, candidates must qualify for the NEET exam.
- The DME Assam NEET provisional merit list is published by the DME, Assam, with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET scores and Assam domicile/schooling eligibility.
- Only applicants with their names on the merit list are eligible for the Assam NEET Counselling process.
- Eligible applicants must complete online registration and choice filling within the notified deadlines; no offline counselling is conducted for these seats.
- Candidates belonging to the OBC/MOBC creamy layer must apply under the General category.
- To attend document verification or in case of any physical requirement, candidates should be prepared to report to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six Miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22, with original and self-attested copies of the required documents.
Compulsory Rural Posting
