Assam MBBS Merit List 2021: The Directorate of Medical Education, DME, will declare the state merit list for Assam MBBS/BDS admission 2021 online, considering all the aspirants qualified to apply for the Assam MBBS admission 2021. The list will also include the names, NEET scores and percentile, NEET rank and state merit rank of the aspirants qualified in the medical entrance exam and have a permanent residence. Aspirants who are a resident of Assam and will secure the minimum NEET qualifying percentile will be added to the Assam Merit List 2021.
The NEET 2021 merit rank eligible aspirants will be called for the Assam MBBS 2021 counselling session for admission to 900 MBBS and 40 BDS under 85% states quota seats. On the other hand, 15% will be reserved for students decided under AIQ seats.

Assam NEET Seat Allotment Procedure
The Assam NEET UG Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each game. The Seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates. The Assam MBBS and BDS 2021 seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be announced tentatively in the first week of December. The seat allotment would be published online on the Directorate of Medical EducationAssam’s official website.

Document Verification for Assam MBBS & BDS Merit List 2021
After releasing the provisional Assam NEET 2021 merit list, the responsible authority will release a schedule for document verification for all applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Applicants will be required to report in person at the assigned venue to get their original documents verified for Assam Medical College admission.

Tie-Breaking For Assam MBBS Rank List 2021
If a situation arises with two or more applicants having the same ranks, tie-breaking is needed. Here are some rules for tie-breaking.
- Applicants with higher marks in biology will be given high ranks and hence preferred.
- If the tie still exists, a candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be given preference.
- If the tie still does not break, the applicant with fewer negative marks will be prioritised.
- And if the problem still lies, the older applicant will be preferred.
