The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has postponed the publication of the Round 1 online counselling result for admission into State Quota seats of MBBS/BDS courses in Government Medical & Dental Colleges of Assam, Session 2026.
Why the Result is Delayed
As per the official notice dated 23-08-2026, the postponement comes in view of the extension of the Round 1 counselling schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Government of India. Since Assam’s state counselling is aligned with the MCC’s central schedule, the delay at the central level has pushed back the state result declaration as well.
