CBSE Paper Leak 2025: Board Rejects Rumors, Warns Against Fake News
In a public notice issued by CBSE, it alerted parents and student not to believe in fake news circulating on social media platforms regarding board exam paper leak.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination board has issued a warning against the spread of fake news regarding paper leaks on social media platforms. The CBSE Class X and XII board examinations, which began on 15 Feb 2025, will continue until 4 April 2025. The CBSE board has reiterated its commitment to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
In a public notice issued, the CBSE has advised parents to guide their children not to believe in unverified information, as it disrupts the examination process. All stakeholders are urged to rely only on official announcements from CBSE through its website- www.cbse.gov.in or verified public channels for accurate updates.
“The public is advised to remain cautious of unverified news during the ongoing examinations. It will pursue legal action against anyone found responsible for spreading misinformation to uphold the integrity of the examination process,” CBSE added.
CBSE is actively collaborating with police to track down and take strict action against those responsible for spreading fake information. Students participating in such activities will face consequences as per CBSE’s rules on unfair practices and applicable laws under the Bharat Nyaya Samhita (BNS).
