Chhattisgarh AYUSH UG Counselling Seat Matrix 2026-27 Released

The Chhattisgarh AYUSH counselling authority has released the Seat Matrix for BAMS/BHMS courses for the academic session 2026-27, covering both All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats across participating Ayurved and Homeopathy colleges in the state.

All India Quota Seat Distribution

According to the released matrix, a total of 59 seats are available under the All India Quota across four colleges, with no state-level reservation applicable on these seats:

State Quota Seat Distribution

The State Quota seat matrix lists colleges including Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College (Raipur), Government Ayurved College (Bilaspur), Rajiv Lochan Ayurved Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya (Chandkhuri, Durg), and Chouksey College of Ayurved Research Center and Hospital (Bilaspur), together comprising a combined total of 251 State Quota seats across these institutions.

State Quota seats are further broken down category-wise as per Chhattisgarh’s reservation policy, which includes:

• Unreserved
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section) – 10%
• Special Backward Scheduled Tribe – 2%
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 30%
• Scheduled Caste (SC) – 12%
• Other Backward Class (OBC) – 14%

Horizontal reservation categories such as Sainik (Defense), Freedom Fighter, Divyang (PwD), and Mahila (Women) are also factored into the seat-wise allocation for each college.

Separately, seats for minority institutions have also been notified, with colleges reserving a portion of seats for the local minority community recognized for that institution and the remainder filled through the general category as per the state’s minority admission provisions.
