The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, Raipur, has issued the admission notice for Round 1 counselling of NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) 2026 in Chhattisgarh. The notice, numbered 1499/Student/Counselling/Sanchishi/2026 and dated August 25, 2026, follows the release of the Round 1 seat allotment list and lays down the schedule for document scrutiny and physical/offline admission for allotted candidates.
Scrutiny and Admission Schedule
As per the notice, the scrutiny and admission process (Physical/Offline Mode) for Round 1 allotted candidates will be conducted as follows:

Government Medical & Dental Colleges: Candidates allotted seats in any government medical college or the government dental college must complete scrutiny and admission at the allotted institute itself.
Private Medical Colleges — Scrutiny Center: Candidates allotted seats in the following private medical colleges must report for scrutiny at the Teachers’ Training Institute Building, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Swasthya Vigyan Aur Ayush Vishwavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh, Uparwara, Nava Raipur (C.G.):

- Triveni Dental Science College, Hospital & Research Centre, Bilaspur
- Chhattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute, Rajnandgaon

The concerned private medical and dental colleges have been directed to depute their authorized officers and staff at the scrutiny venue to complete the admission process.
Key Admission Rule Candidates Must Know
The notice reiterates Rule 7(viii) of the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental and Physical Medicine (Physiotherapy) Graduate Admission Rules, 2025, which states:
- After allotment, candidates must personally report to the allotted institute for document scrutiny by the final date mentioned in the allotment letter. Failure to appear for scrutiny will result in the candidate being automatically removed from counselling and the admission process for the current academic session.
- Admission to a government medical college is mandatory once allotted.
- Admission to a private medical college, government dental college, or private dental college is not mandatory, but all allotted candidates must undergo scrutiny and be found eligible.
- Candidates who fail to complete this process as per the rules will be treated as ineligible and removed from the counselling process.
Advisory for Candidates
The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, has advised candidates to:
- Go through the Chhattisgarh Medical Graduate Admission Rules, 2025, before starting the scrutiny and admission process to avoid complications.
- Regularly check the official websites — www.cgdme.in and https://cgdme.admissions.nic.in — for updates on future counselling, allotment, and other information.
- Be cautious of fraud: all allotments to government and private medical/dental colleges are carried out only through the official online process by the Counselling Committee constituted by the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh. Candidates should not fall for anyone claiming to help secure admission outside this process.
Copies of the notice have also been sent to the Registrar of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Swasthya Vigyan Aur Ayush Vishwavidyalaya, District Collectors across Chhattisgarh, and Deans/Principals of the concerned government and private medical and dental colleges for necessary action.
