Important Guidelines for Candidates

  • All applicants must thoroughly study Rule No. 503/30/2025/MED – the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental & Physiotherapy (BPT) UG Admission Rules, 2025 (covering reservation, counselling process, and bond requirements) -before starting the online application.
  • Candidates admitted in Round 1 who wish to upgrade must log in to the portal and give their consent, following which they can proceed with fresh institute selection for Round 2.
  • As per Rule 7(x)(3) of the 2025 Admission Rules, candidates found ineligible for counselling will not be permitted to register in subsequent rounds.

Re-Selection Mandatory for Previously Registered Candidates

Previously registered eligible candidates must select their institute again within the specified dates, as their earlier institute selection has been automatically nullified. Candidates who fail to make a fresh institute selection will not be allotted a seat in Round 2 counselling.

Additional Fee for Switching from Government to Private College

Candidates who had earlier selected only government medical colleges and now wish to opt for private medical colleges in the upcoming counselling will need to pay the additional difference in registration fee between the government and private college fee structure. Only after this additional payment can such candidates select a private medical college.

Forfeiture of Registration Fee Warning

As per the Commissioner’s notice No. 1368 dated 07.08.2026, if a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 2 or any subsequent counselling round and either does not take admission or takes admission and later leaves the seat, the registration fee deposited will be forfeited.

Candidates are therefore advised to select only those colleges they genuinely intend to join while making their institute choices.

Candidate Responsibility

The entire counselling process – including registration fee payment, institute and subject selection, and choice locking – is to be completed by the candidate themselves. In case of incomplete or incorrect information leading to cancellation of registration or allotment, the candidate alone will be responsible; the office or counselling committee will bear no responsibility.
