Gujarat NEET UG 2026: Round 1 Allotment List Released

The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gandhinagar, Government of Gujarat, has released the Provisional Allotment Lists for Round 1 of MBBS/BDS admissions for the academic year 2026-27. The results have been published in two formats – a Meritwise Allotment List and an Institute-wise Allotment List – allowing candidates to check their allotment status either by their merit rank or by the college allotted to them.

Overview

  • The Provisional Meritwise Allotment List – Round 1 runs across 163 pages, covering approximately 7,459 candidates, arranged in order of their overall merit rank.
  • The Provisional Institute-wise Allotment List – Round 1 runs across 214 pages, covering around 55 medical and dental colleges across Gujarat, with candidates listed college-wise.

The allotment spans a wide range of institutions across Gujarat, including:

  • Government Medical Colleges such as B. J. Medical College (Ahmedabad), Government Medical College (Vadodara and Bhavnagar), Shri M.P. Shah Government Medical College (Jamnagar), and various GMERS Medical Colleges (Gandhinagar, Godhra, Gotri-Vadodara, Himmatnagar, Junagadh).
  • Self-financed and private medical colleges, including Pramukhswami Medical College (Karamsad), GCS Medical College (Ahmedabad), Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (Bhuj), Dr. Kiran C. Patel Medical College & Research Institute (Bharuch), and Kiran Medical College (Surat).
  • ESIC Medical College, Naroda Bapunagar, Ahmedabad.
  • Government and private Dental Colleges, including Government Dental College and Hospital (Ahmedabad and Jamnagar), A.M.C Dental College (Ahmedabad), and several other institutes across the state.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • These are provisional allotment lists; final admission is subject to verification of original documents at the allotted institute.
  • Candidates should check the seat type carefully – Government Seats (GQ), Management Seats (MQ), and NRI Seats (NQ) – as this determines the applicable fee structure and reporting process.
  • Category and sub-category codes (such as EWS, SC, ST, SEBC) shown against each candidate reflect the basis on which the seat was allotted.

How to Check Your Allotment Status

  1. Visit the official ACPUGMEC Gujarat medical admission portal.
  2. Navigate to the Round 1 Allotment Results section.
  3. To check by rank, open the Meritwise Allotment List and search using your name or merit number.
  4. To check by college, open the Institute-wise Allotment List, locate your preferred/allotted institute code, and find your name within that section.

What Candidates Should Do Next

  • Confirm your allotted college, course, and seat category from either list.
  • Report to the allotted institute within the prescribed reporting period with all original documents for verification.
  • Keep track of the official portal for further rounds of counselling, including any vacancy updates or upgrade opportunities.
