Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Non-Reported List & Vacant Seats Out

Gujarat, September 5, 2026: The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat has released the Round 1 Non-Reported Candidate List along with the Vacant Seats Chart After Round 1 for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2026-27.

Non-Reported Candidates List

As per the list dated 05.09.2026, a total of 1,219 candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 of Medical & Dental counselling did not report to their allotted institutes to complete admission formalities. The list includes candidate details such as NEET Rank, GMERIT, CMERIT, allotted institute, branch (Medical/Dental), admission category, and seat type (Government Quota, Management Quota, or NRI Quota).

These non-reported seats have now become vacant and will be available for allotment in the subsequent round of counselling.

As per the seat matrix published on 27.08.2026, the total vacant seats after Round 1 due to non-conversion stand at:

  • Vacant seats span across major government and self-financed medical/dental colleges in Gujarat, including B.J.   • A significant portion of vacant seats fall under the NRI Quota (NQ) category – 908 out of 943 total vacant seats.
  • These vacant seats, along with the non-reported candidates’ seats, will now be factored into the seat matrix for Round 2 counselling.

What This Means for Candidates

Candidates who did not report after Round 1 allotment will lose their claim to that seat, and it will be added to the vacancy pool for Round 2. Candidates still in the counselling process should check the updated seat matrix carefully before participating in choice filling for Round 2.
