  • Fresh candidates not registered in Round 1 can register for Round 2.
  • Candidates already registered in Round 1 do not need to register again.
  • Candidates allotted or joined a seat in Round 1 must give their willingness/option to upgrade in Round 2 online, or they will not be considered eligible for Round 2.
  • Candidates who joined a seat in Round 1 retain the right to that seat unless they get an upgraded seat in Round 2; however, they must submit fresh preferences/choices for Round 2 in order of priority.

Security Amount Details

All candidates wishing to participate in Round 2 must deposit a security amount online:

  • Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. 5,000/- for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWBD of Haryana State) for State Quota seats in Government/Govt. Aided Medical/Dental Colleges only
  • Rs. 1,00,000/- if also opting for State Quota/Management Quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges, including Private Universities

Key points on the security amount:

  • Failure to deposit the requisite amount makes a candidate ineligible for Round 2.
  • If a candidate joins the allotted seat, the amount is adjusted against the first-year tuition fee.
  • If allotted a seat as per preference but not joined, the security amount will be forfeited; such candidates can still participate in Round 3 after forfeiture and fresh deposit.
  • The security amount of candidates not allotted any seat in Round 2/Round 3 will be refunded after the counselling process is completed.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • Round 1 choices are null and void – all candidates participating in Round 2 must fill fresh choices.
  • Candidates who joined a seat via All India Quota or any State up to Round 3 will not be eligible for stray/further rounds of counselling and must submit an undertaking to this effect.
  • A freshly registered Round 2 candidate who is not allotted a seat can participate in Round 3 without depositing the security amount again.
  • Wrong information provided at registration, if it leads to seat cancellation during document verification or failure to produce required documents, will result in cancellation of the allotted seat and forfeiture of the security amount.
  • These instructions must be read along with the NEET UG Information Bulletin 2026 and the Government of Haryana notification dated 27.08.2026.
  • BC-A/BC-B category candidates are governed by Govt. of Haryana notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW dated 16.07.2024.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the UHSR Rohtak website (www.uhsr.ac.in), the admission web portal (uhsrugcounselling.com), and the Medical Education and Research Department, Haryana website (dmer.haryana.gov.in) for further updates.
