Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allocation Released

Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has released the Final Seat Allocation for MBBS/BDS 1st Round Counselling based on NEET UG 2026, vide notice No. AMRU/COE-Admission-120/2026-27(MBBS/BDS)-4857, dated 29th August 2026.

Supreme Court Directed Supernumerary Seat

In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s order in Civil Appeal No. 2026 (arising out of SLP (C) No. 18686 of 2023 — Secretary NMC vs. Sanjna Thakur), the National Medical Commission (NMC) has created a supernumerary MBBS seat at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba. This seat has been allotted to Ms. Sanjna Thakur, D/o Sh. Gopal Singh, in accordance with the Court’s directions.

• Candidates claiming benefit under any reserved category/quota must ensure that all submitted certificates/documents are valid, updated, and in the prescribed format as specified in the Prospectus.
• Candidates are advised to update or prepare their documents in the correct format before the admission process begins.
• In case of any discrepancy, outdated/invalid certificate, or non-submission of the prescribed document, the candidate will not be entitled to claim benefit of the respective category/quota.
• Provisional allotment of a seat does not confer any right of admission — final eligibility/category claims are subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
• Candidates must approach their allotted college/institute only after downloading the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login. Admission will not be considered without seat allocation confirmed by AMRU.
