J&KBOPEE Announces NEET UG 2025 Counselling: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued fresh notifications on 2ndOctober, 2025 regarding the counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET UG Counselling 2025. The updates cover 161 additional MBBS seats in government colleges and new MBBS/BDS seats in private institutions.
MBBS Choice Filling for Government Colleges
As per Notification No. 144-BOPEE of 2025, the online choice filling for 161 additional MBBS seats in five government medical colleges began on October 2, 2025 (8:00 PM) and will close on October 5, 2025 (midnight). Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1500 online. Incomplete or failed transactions will result in disqualification.
Additional Seats in Private Colleges
Along with these government seats, JKBOPEE confirmed the availability of 100 MBBS seats in two private medical colleges. These will be allotted in the second round of counselling, along with leftover seats from government colleges.

BDS Counselling Update
The latest notification also confirmed that BDS seats in government and private dental colleges will be included in the same round of counselling. A separate seat matrix for BDS will be published before the process begins.
