- The candidate who fulfils the eligibility conditions laid down in CET-2006 admission rules and have qualified in UGNEET-2021 but not attended the documents earlier for verification of documents will have to register compulsorily and appear for verification with all the marks cards, relevant documents for verification (with all the necessary documents/certificates) as per the schedule which will be notified on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in

The counselling will be conducted online, and candidates who wish to participate in it need to register on the official website of KEA.
Karnataka NEET Counselling Process
Step 1 – Login & Registration: To enter Karnataka MBBS & BDS counselling, applicants can click on the link provided on this page when released. Click on the ‘web counselling’ option, after which applicants require to enter their NEET rank, roll number and registration number of the application form.
Step 2 – Choice filling Process: The online choice filling of Karnataka NEET counselling will look on the screen. There will be a list of colleges available with college, college code, place, courses, and the district name.
Step 3 – Saving choices: After successfully selecting & Preference, fill in the details are chosen and click on the ‘save’ button. The choices filled will be locked automatically after the scheduled time of Karnataka counselling. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered in the space provided, then click on the ‘confirm’ button.

The eligible and interested candidates must compulsorily register online on the KEA Website and produce the relevant documents for verification to become eligible for admission to Medical and Dental courses 2021-22. - Step 1: Enter all the details through ONLINE by browsing the URL on the official website

- By selecting “UGNEET-2021 Online Registration”.

- After completion of entry of all the details candidate’s will receive an application ID and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to the email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.

- Step 2: Upload the scanned copy of the recent passport size Colour Photograph, Signature and left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG / JPEG format separately.
- Step 3: The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in the prescribed method.
- Step 4: Take a printout of the application form on A-4 Size paper and the same copy should be produced for document verification.

Karnataka NEET Domicile Criteria 2021
This section provides detailed information about KEA Karnataka NEET 2021 Domicile criteria to all candidates applying to medical and dental colleges. To qualify for Karnataka NEET 2021 state counselling, KEA has around 16 domicile criteria, of which candidates must meet any one of them.
- Students should have passed class 11 and class 12 or equivalent examination from a government or a government recognised school in Karnataka, and their parents must have studied for minimum 7 years in Karnataka.
- Candidate must have studied in one or more government or government recognised schools in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years, between class 1 to class 12.
- Candidate and his/her parent/s’ mother tongue should be either Kannada, Tulu or Kodava, and the parent/s must be a domicile in Karnataka. Candidate must have studied in an educational institution outside Karnataka and should be residing outside of Karnataka as of May 11 of the particular year. Candidate shall undergo a Kannada Language Test, conducted by the KEA.
- Candidate’s mother tongue should be Kannada, Tulu or Kodava, and they should have studied for a minimum period of 7 years (between Classes 1 to 12) in the disputed Kannada speaking area of South Solapur or Akkalkot or Jath, or Gadhinglaj Taluka of Maharashtra, or Kasargod, Hosardurga, or Manjeshwar Taluks of Kerala. Candidate shall undergo a Kannada Language Test, conducted by the KEA.
- Applicants whose parent/s are Defence Personnel and have served in Karnataka continuously for a minimum period of one year, while the candidate was appearing for classes 11 and 12 or equivalent, from a government or government recognised Institute of Karnataka.
- Applicants who are children of Defence Personnel and have declared a place in Karnataka as their hometown while joining the Defence Services.
- Candidates who are children of Defence Personnel currently serving outside of Karnataka, but the family has been allowed by competent authorities to stay in Karnataka. They should have passed the qualifying examination for a government or government recognised institution in the state.
- Candidates whose parent/s are employees of the central government or Karnataka State government who are liable to be transferred anywhere in the country, but have served in Karnataka continuously for a minimum period of one year, while the candidate was appearing for classes 11 and 12 or equivalent, from a government or government recognised institute of Karnataka.
- Candidates who are children of ex-servicemen, who declared a place in Karnataka as their hometown while joining the Defence Services, would be required to produce proof of domicile. Candidates could have passed a qualifying examination from a recognised Institution located anywhere in the country.
- Candidates who are children of MP/s elected from Karnataka and should have passed Class 12 from a recognised institution anywhere in the country.
- Aspirants whose parent/s are employed in All India Services of Karnataka cadre, or Karnataka State Government and is serving or has served outside the state of Karnataka in the period corresponding to the candidate’s study outside the state (Classes 1 to 12 or equivalent), can be added to make up the 7 years’ minimum requirement as in point 1.
- Candidates whose parent/s are migrants from Jammu and Kashmir. Proof needs to be submitted to the competent authority.
- Candidates whose parent/s are or were employed with the Central Armed Police Force and had declared a place in Karnataka as their hometown while joining the CAPF. Proof of domicile should be obtained and furnished from and to the competent authorities. Candidates could have passed Class 12 from a recognised Institution anywhere in the country.
- Students who have studied 10 full years in Kannada medium. They need not appear for any language test by KEA and should have passed the qualifying examination from any government or government recognised educational institution within the country.
- Aspirants must have studied from a Karnataka-based institution from classes 9 to 12, or 1 and 2 year of PUC. Also, the candidate’s parent/s must have studied from Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years.
- If the candidate has passed Class 12 from an institution outside of Karnataka, their parents must be a Karnataka domicile holder. Also, in this case, the candidate or the parent/s must have Kanada, Kova or Tulu as their mother tongue, and the candidate would be required to take the Karnataka Language Test.

Selection Procedure
- The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for the admission after the NEET State counselling.
- Admission Seekers will be selected on the basis of their rank obtained and choice filled during counselling.
- Admission Seekers will have to report to the allotted college for the admission along with all required documents.
- If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.

- Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination to qualify for further admission process.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process.
- Aspirants who belong to the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile.
