The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released an important notice for students who passed their Class 12 examination from CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards in 2026 or earlier. Candidates appearing for Karnataka CET 2026 admissions must verify and confirm their marks through the KEA portal within the given deadline.
According to the official notification issued on May 22, 2026, KEA stated that the Class 12 marks obtained by eligible candidates will be displayed on a dedicated online link. Students are required to log in, check their marks, and confirm the details between May 22 and May 24, 2026.
Why Confirmation of Marks is Important
KEA clarified that the confirmed marks will be used for determining CET 2026 merit as per the admission rules. The authority also mentioned that the submitted marks will later be matched with the original Class 12 marks sheet during the admission process at the allotted college after seat allotment.
Candidates have also been instructed to upload a copy of their Class 12 marks sheet in PDF format after confirmation.
KEA Warning on Incorrect Information
The authority has warned candidates against providing incorrect details. If any discrepancy or false information is found during verification, the allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate may be disqualified from the admission process.
