The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has launched a special student guidance initiative called “UGCET-2026 Seat Allotment Manthana” to help students understand the counselling and seat allotment process after CET 2026.
This initiative aims to reduce confusion among students and parents during the admission process for engineering, medical, and dental courses across Karnataka.
What is KEA Seat Allotment Manthana?
The program has been introduced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to provide direct counselling support and guidance to students participating in the CET counselling process.
Under this initiative, students can visit selected colleges and interact with experts to understand:

- Document verification doubts

KEA Connect Mentorship Platform
Along with the Manthana program, KEA has also launched the KEA Connect Mentorship Platform.
Through this platform:
- Students who secured seats last year and are currently studying in colleges will mentor aspirants virtually.
- Candidates can ask doubts related to counselling, colleges, branches, and admission procedures.
- The platform is expected to provide peer-to-peer support for students preparing for counselling.
Why This Initiative is Important
Many students face confusion during counselling because of:
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment
- Choice filling mistakes
- Lack of college information
- Reservation and quota confusion
- Document verification issues
The KEA Manthana initiative can help students avoid common mistakes and understand the process better before actual counselling begins.
Student-Friendly Support by KEA
KEA has encouraged both students and parents to make full use of these student-friendly initiatives. The authority says the program focuses on:
- Clarity in decision-making
- Better counselling awareness
- Reducing stress during admissions
- Helping students choose suitable colleges and courses
Students appearing for Karnataka UGCET 2026 are advised to regularly check official KEA announcements for venue details and registration updates.
