MCC UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notification for NEET UG Counselling 2025 regarding PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) candidates.
To ensure convenience and accessibility, MCC has onboarded additional Designated Disability Certification Centers where candidates can obtain their PwBD Disability Certificates as per the Interim Guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for MBBS admissions under the PwBD category for the academic year 2025-26.
Why Disability Certificates Are Important for MCC UG Counselling 2025
Candidates applying under the PwBD category must submit a valid disability certificate issued by an MCC-recognised center. Without this, candidates will not be eligible for PwBD quota seats in MBBS/BDS admissions.

How PwBD Candidates Can Obtain Disability Certificates
Candidates must follow the below steps to obtain their PwBD Disability Certificate for NEET UG Counselling 2025:
- Visit any of the MCC-approved Disability Certification Centers.
- Carry a valid UDID card (Unique Disability ID card).
- Undergo examination as per NMC Interim Guidelines for PwBD admissions.
- Obtain the disability certificate from the designated authority.
- Upload the certificate on the PwD Portal of MCC before the deadline.
