The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has officially released the schedule for the mop-up round of MBBS and BDS counseling for the academic session 2025, announced on September 30.
Fresh registration for new eligible candidates will be open from 30 September to 4 October 2025 (till 11:59 PM). Candidates who have already registered earlier do not need to register again.
The revised state merit list and list of eligible candidates will be published on 7 October 2025. Following this, the vacancy list will be announced along with the facility for choice filling and choice locking from 8 to 9 October 2025 (till 11:59 PM).

The round 3 allotment result will be declared on 11 October 2025. Selected candidates must report to their allotted medical or dental colleges for document verification and admission between 12 to 17 October 2025 (till 6:00 PM).
Officials have advised students to carefully complete the choice-filling process, as fresh choice filling is mandatory for participation in this round.

- Visit the Official Website: Go to the official counseling portal of the Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh (usually dme.mponline.gov.in).
- Fresh Registration: New candidates must register online between 30 September and 4 October 2025. Already registered candidates can directly proceed to choice filling.
- Fee Payment: Complete the online payment of the counseling/registration fee as per the instructions.
- Choice Filling & Locking: Fill fresh choices for MBBS/BDS colleges between 8 and 9 October 2025, and lock them before the deadline.
- Allotment Result: Check the mop-up round result on 11 October 2025 by logging into the counseling portal.
- Reporting to College: If allotted a seat, report to the respective medical/dental college with original documents between 12 and 17 October 2025 for verification and admission.
This mop-up round is expected to fill vacant seats in both MBBS and BDS courses across medical and dental colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
