NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Allotment List Released by MCC After Supreme Court Dismisses Cancellation Plea

MCC has released the NEET PG 2024 round 3 allotment list after the Supreme Court dismissed a plea to cancel admissions.

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates admitted under the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 up to round 3. This follows the Supreme Court’s dismissal of a plea seeking to cancel these admissions. The MCC has instructed candidates to review the list and immediately contact their respective colleges if their names are missing.

The NEET PG allotment list includes details such as roll numbers, candidate names, allotted institutes, and subjects for candidates who completed their admissions by 11:30 am on February 7, 2025.

“All candidates who have reported to their allotted colleges and secured admission must verify that their names are included in the list. Candidates whose names are missing should promptly contact their allotted colleges,” the MCC stated in an official notice.

Revised Seat Matrix and Extension of Reporting Deadline

The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently revised the NEET PG seat matrix after the Supreme Court issued a notice to the Centre and other stakeholders in response to a plea from aspirants seeking the cancellation of round 3 counselling. Students raised concerns about seat blocking and irregularities, particularly due to delays in the Madhya Pradesh NEET PG counselling process.

In light of recent developments, the MCC is expected to extend the round 3 reporting deadline to February 9. This decision follows the Karnataka High Court’s cancellation of state allotments for candidates who had already secured All India Quota (AIQ) seats. These candidates can now join the seats allotted through MCC counselling, allowing them to participate in Karnataka’s NEET PG stray-vacancy round while reallocating the leftover seats.

Previously, the MCC had extended the reporting deadline for round 3 candidates to February 4, responding to multiple requests from state quota aspirants.
