New Delhi: The NEET UG 2025 exam is scheduled to be held across the country on May 4, 2025. This year, strict security measures have been put in place to ensure a fair and safe examination. However, more than 1,500 suspicious claims of a paper leak have surfaced. At the same time, cyber fraudsters have become active, prompting the police to issue a warning to students and parents.
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), over 1,500 claims related to the NEET UG 2025 paper leak have been observed. To ensure the integrity of the exam, strict security arrangements have been implemented across the country. Question papers are being delivered to exam centres under tight surveillance. However, ahead of the exam, cyber fraudsters have become active, and false information about paper leaks is going viral on social media platforms.

NTA Takes Strict Action Against Fake Paper Leak Claims
In response to the rising rumors surrounding the NEET UG 2025 exam, the NTA has taken firm steps to crack down on misinformation. Ahead of the exam, over 1,500 fake paper leak claims were reported through a dedicated portal. Upon investigation, it was found that 106 Telegram channels and 16 Instagram accounts were spreading false information to mislead students.
The NTA has forwarded these details to the Cyber Crime Department and has also requested Telegram and Instagram to remove these fraudulent groups and share the details of their administrators. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has intensified preparations by holding meetings with District Magistrates (DMs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) across states to ensure the exam is conducted in a secure and transparent manner.
