The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated a correction window for NEET UG 2026 re-examination candidates, allowing them to update their present address and preferred exam city before the deadline. As per the official public notice issued on May 15, 2026, the window is open from May 15 to May 21, 2026 (till 23:50 hrs) on the NTA official website.
This comes after NTA confirmed that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be held on June 21, 2026 (Sunday).
What is the NEET UG 2026 Correction Window?
The correction window is a limited-time facility provided by NTA that allows re-exam candidates to:
- Update their present address
- Change their 1st and 2nd choice of examination city.
Important: Candidates who do not update their preferences within this window will retain their previously selected exam city. No requests will be entertained after May 21, 2026.

- Log in using your application number and password
- Navigate to the correction window link
- Update your present address or exam city preference
- Save and submit the changes before May 21, 2026 (23:50 hrs)
NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: Important Details
The re-examination will be conducted in Pen & Paper (Offline) Mode across various cities in India and abroad. The exam will be available in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Exam timing is fixed from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM IST, which includes the time allotted for examination formalities.
No Exam Fee for Re-Examination
NTA has confirmed that no fee will be charged from candidates appearing in the re-examination. This applies to all eligible candidates who appeared in the original NEET UG 2026 examination.
No Other Corrections Allowed
Candidates should note that apart from the present address and exam city choice, no other corrections in particulars will be permitted during this window.
Admit Cards & Results
The city intimation and admit card download dates will be announced separately on the official NTA website. Similarly, the display of recorded responses, answer keys and declaration of results will be notified later.
