The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting the Annual Disclosure Report (ADR) by existing medical colleges seeking renewal of MBBS seats for the academic year 2026-27.
According to a public notice issued by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), the last date for submitting the Annual Declaration on the NMC portal has been extended from May 31, 2026, to June 10, 2026. The decision was taken after several medical colleges reported technical difficulties and requested additional time to complete the submission process.
The NMC clarified that this extension is being granted as a final opportunity, and no further extension will be allowed under any circumstances. Medical colleges that fail to submit the required information by the revised deadline may face issues in the annual renewal process for MBBS seats.
In a separate communication, NMC Secretary Dr. Raghav Langer informed all medical colleges and institutions under the commission that the revised deadline should be noted for further necessary action. The communication has also been shared with state medical education departments and directorates across the country.
The Annual Disclosure Report is mandatory under the Maintenance of Standards of Medical Education Regulations (MSMER), 2023 and is required for the processing of annual renewal applications for MBBS seats. Medical colleges are expected to provide accurate institutional data through the NMC portal.
UGMEB has advised institutions facing technical issues to contact the designated helpdesk for assistance. All other conditions and requirements related to the annual renewal process will remain unchanged.
