The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a fresh public notice dated 07 July 2026, giving candidates another opportunity to confirm, correct, or update their bank account details for the refund of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination fee. The exam, originally held on 03 May 2026, was later cancelled, following which NTA committed to refunding the fee to all candidates.
Why This Notice Was Issued
NTA had earlier released a public notice on 30 June 2026 asking candidates to confirm or update their bank details for the fee refund process. However, only about 10,28,223 candidates have completed this step so far, and refunds have already begun for them. Since a large number of students are yet to update their bank account information, NTA has decided to reopen the refund portal to ensure that every eligible candidate receives their refund without delay.

Join NEET News 2026 - Visit the official NEET (UG) 2026 registration portal.
- Log in using registered credentials.
- Click on the link for “Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation.”
- Complete two-factor authentication.
- Access the refund link and submit accurate bank account details.
- Optionally, upload a cancelled cheque to verify the bank information.

- Candidates who have already confirmed their bank details and received refunds do not need to take any further action.
- Uploading a cancelled cheque is optional but recommended for accuracy.
