PDM Dental College Haryana Offline Counselling at Rohtak Soon

Panchkula, Haryana: The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Haryana has issued a public notice informing students and stakeholders about the closure of PDM Dental College and the resulting arrangements for affected BDS and MDS students.

Background

As per the notice, the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, vide order dated 23.07.2026, ordered the withdrawal of recognition under the provisions of the National Dental Commission Act, 2023. This led to the closure of PDM Dental College and the decision to shift its BDS and MDS students to other recognized dental colleges in Haryana.

Following this, the State Government, vide order dated 07/12.08.2026, withdrew the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to PD Memorial Religious and Education Association, Sarai, Aurangabad, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar for conducting BDS and MDS courses.

Offline Counselling to Be Held at Pt. B.D. Sharma University, Rohtak

To ensure the continuation of studies for the affected students, the Haryana State Government will conduct offline counselling at Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, for adjusting the displaced BDS and MDS students into other recognized dental colleges in the state.

The exact date, time, and detailed schedule for this offline counselling process will be notified separately by the authorities.
