Punjab MBBS/BDS 2026 Releases Sports Category Merit List

Faridkot, September 3, 2026: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has released the Sports Category Merit List for candidates who applied for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under NEET-UG 2026 during the 1st Round of Online Counselling.

About the Notice

As per the Public Notice (Ref. No. BFUHS/2026/26) dated September 2, 2026, issued by the Admission Branch, the Sports Category Merit List has been prepared by the Office of the Director, Sports, Punjab.

Key Points from the Notice

• Since this is technically the first counselling of candidates under the Sports Category, the Sports Merit List provided shall be considered for the allotment of seats under the Sports Category in the 2nd Round of Online Counselling.
• In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the Sports Merit Evaluation, their inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of their NEET-UG 2026 Rank.
• Applications received from candidates under the Sports Category during the 2nd Round of Online Counselling will be considered in the 3rd Round of Counselling.

What Candidates Should Do

• Sports Category candidates should check their position in the merit list released by BFUHS.
• Candidates applying in the 2nd Round should note their applications will only be considered in the 3rd Round.
• Keep track of NEET-UG 2026 rank for tie-breaking in case of equal marks.
