Punjab MBBS/BDS NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Schedule Released

Faridkot, September 3, 2026: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has released the draft schedule for the Second Round of Online Counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under NEET-UG 2026, in continuation of the counselling process and in accordance with the schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Sports Category candidates who applied earlier but did not submit hard copies can do so on 07.09.2026 at the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, along with the Sports Gradation Certificate and academic proofs, failing which their candidature won’t be considered under the Sports Category Merit.

Who Is Eligible for Round 2 Seat Allotment

Candidates eligible for 2nd round allotment must belong to one of these groups:

• Group I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in Round 1.
• Group II: Candidates whose Round 1 allotted seat got cancelled during document verification (eligible for allotment with changed category, subject to availability).
• Group III: Candidates who reported at their allotted institute in Round 1 and submitted willingness for Round 2 upgradation.
• Group IV: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 but who did not join.
• Group V: Candidates who resigned online within the stipulated time from their Round 1 allotted seat.

Who Is NOT Eligible

• Candidates who became ineligible due to inadequate documents as per eligibility criteria under Punjab Govt./MCC-UG notification.
• Candidates who did not register in Round 1 or Round 2.

Key FAQs for Candidates

• Non-joiners from Round 1 are eligible to participate in Round 2, subject to depositing the requisite security amount.
• Candidates who resign after joining a Round 2 seat will have their security deposit forfeited.
• Candidates who don’t report during Round 2 must register afresh with a new security deposit for Round 3.
• Candidates can upgrade their Round 2 seat during Round 3, but once they join the upgraded seat, they cannot resign.
• Choices submitted in Round 1 are null and void — fresh choices/preferences must be submitted for Round 2.
• Choices lock automatically after the deadline; no requests for changes will be entertained thereafter.
