Among the 1,855 MBBS seats that are still vacant, 61 are in government colleges, 1,091 in private colleges, 350 in management quota, and 353 in NRI quota.
Renowned private colleges like Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Udaipur (199 seats), NIMS Jaipur (123), Pacific Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur (135), and Dr. SS Tantia Medical College, Sri Ganganagar (132) lead the list with the most unfilled seats.
In medical colleges run by the government, there are very few vacancies, with ESIC Medical College, Jaipur having the highest among the state-run colleges.
BDS Vacant Seats
There are 400 open seats in the dental stream across both public and private dental schools. Dr. SS Tantia Dental College, Sri Ganganagar (27), Pacific Dental College & Hospital, Udaipur (32), and Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College, Ganganagar (37 seats) are the main contributors.
Conclusion
The large number of open seats, especially in the private and NRI quotas, indicates that several institutions are still having trouble finding qualified applicants.
