What the Notice Says
- The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) / DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) has not yet opened the portal for assessing the functional ability of PWD candidates through the Regional Medical Board or Designated Disability Centres.
- Candidates are advised to complete their application before July 23, 2026, using the documents currently available to them, rather than waiting for the disability-assessment portal.
- The Regional Medical Board and Designated Disability Centres will issue the PWD Certificate only after MCC/DGHS formally commences the counselling process.
- Once DGHS commences the process, candidates can obtain their certificates from the Regional Medical Board or Designated Disability Centres, and the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee will set up a mechanism for candidates to upload these certificates at that stage.
