Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has released a notification for exercising web options for the first phase of counselling for MBBS admissions under Competent Authority Quota (CQ) for the Academic Year 2026-27. This applies to Government, Private un-aided Minority and Non-Minority Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS.
Key Dates
Eligible candidates whose names appear in the final merit list (published on 28th August 2026) can exercise web options from:
6:00 AM on 29th August 2026 to 12:00 Noon on 1st September 2026

Who Is Eligible
Candidates whose certificates were uploaded during online registration and provisionally verified, and whose names are notified in the final merit list of UG Medical Admissions (including EWS, PWD, PMC, CAP & SCCL categories), are eligible to participate in this phase.
University Fee
Allotted candidates must pay a University fee of ₹12,000 through the payment gateway (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) to download their allotment order.
- In case of payment failure followed by a successful duplicate payment, candidates must email [email protected] for a refund, which will be processed only after the closure of admissions.
Tuition Fee
- To be paid directly at respective Government Medical Colleges, as per their website notification.
- To be paid at respective Private Medical Colleges as per G.O.Ms.No. 98, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 07.08.2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- There is no limit on the number of choices/colleges a candidate can select while exercising web options.
- Candidates who do not exercise web options in Phase 1 will not be eligible to participate in subsequent phases (to prevent seat blocking).
- Candidates who are allotted a seat but do not join the college will also be barred from exercising web options in later phases.
- A One-Time Password (6-letter alphabetic code) will be sent to the registered mobile number while exercising options.
- SMS alerts will be sent upon seat allotment; candidates must log in to check allotment status after each phase.
- Selected candidates must report to the Principal of the allotted college with original certificates, relevant bonds, and tuition fee payment before the last date mentioned on the allotment order – failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
- Final verification of original certificates will occur at the allotted college; any discrepancy will lead to cancellation of provisional allotment.
- Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority Candidates only (who are also eligible for CQ seats in other colleges).
- The University fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.
