Lucknow, September 30, 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME) has issued instructions for UP NEET UG 2025 Round-3 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions.
The Round-3 seat allotment will be based on the merit list. Candidates from Round-1 and Round-2 who were not allotted seats, or who did not take admission, need not pay the security deposit again. However, students allotted seats in Round-2 who did not join or resigned will lose their deposit and must submit a fresh one to participate.

Key Points for Candidates
- Only registered and verified candidates can fill choices online.
- Vacant, Not Reported, Resigned seats, and Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) will be displayed.
- Choice filling is unlimited but must be locked to be considered.
- Once locked, choices cannot be changed.
Admission & Fee Rules
- Government colleges: Full security deposit + fee forfeited if admission not taken.
- Private colleges: Security deposit + 50% of tuition fee forfeited if admission not taken.
- Tuition fees must be paid via CTS Bank Draft in favor of DGME, UP, payable at Lucknow.
Reporting
- Candidates must report to the allotted college/nodal centre and undergo a medical test before admission confirmation.
- Updates and fee structure are available on upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in.
