Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026: FREEZE/FLOAT Seat Surrender

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun has issued a notice regarding the seat surrender/withdrawal/resign procedure for candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 of the NEET UG–2026 Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling. As per the notice, dated 07 September 2026, eligible candidates can surrender their seat without forfeiting their security deposit – but only before the specified deadline.

Surrender Process for FREEZE Candidates

Candidates who selected the FREEZE option in Round 1 and completed the admission procedure at their allotted institute must:

• Personally report at the concerned institute
• Complete the surrender process on or before 05:00 PM, 09 September 2026

Surrender Process for FLOAT Candidates

Candidates who selected the FLOAT option in Round 1 can:

• Surrender their seat by logging into their account using their Login ID
• Complete this on or before 05:00 PM, 09 September 2026

Important Note

No candidate – FREEZE or FLOAT – will be permitted to surrender their Round 1 allotted seat after 05:00 PM on 09.09.2026, under any circumstances.
