WB NEET UG 2025: The Government of West Bengal has released the tentative schedule for Round 5 of WB NEET UG Dental Counselling 2025, covering State Quota and Private Management Quota seats. The schedule has been issued by the Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Health and Family Welfare, and outlines the complete counselling timeline from registration to final admission.
As per the official notice dated 02 January 2026, Round 5 will be conducted entirely in online mode initially, followed by physical reporting at allotted institutes.
Registration and Fee Payment
Online registration for Round 5 will begin on 02 January 2026 at 3:00 PM and will remain open until 10:00 PM on the same day (as per server time).
Candidates must complete their online fee payment between 3:00 PM and 12:00 midnight on 02 January 2026.
Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and complete both registration and fee payment within the stipulated timeline will be considered for further stages of counselling.
Join NEET News 2026 Verification and Choice Filling
After successful registration, document verification will be conducted on 03 January 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at designated colleges, along with time-slot booking through the software.
The list of successfully verified candidates and the Seat Matrix for Round 5 will be published on 03 January 2026 after 4:00 PM.
Online choice filling and choice locking for verified candidates will begin at 6:00 PM on 03 January 2026 and will close at 12:00 midnight on 04 January 2026.
Seat Allotment and Reporting
The Round 5 allotment result will be published on 06 January 2026 after 12 noon.
Candidates allotted seats under Private Dental Colleges at Dr R. Ahmed Dental College must report for admission on:
- 06 January 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- 07 January 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Admission will be granted only after successful re-verification of original documents, payment of required college fees, and submission of bond (if applicable).
Non-Reported Seats and Final Admission
The result for non-reported seats after Round 5 choices will be published on 09 January 2026 after 12 noon.
Candidates allotted seats against these vacancies must report to all Private Dental Colleges at Dr R. Ahmed Dental College on:
- 09 January 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- 10 January 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards
Admission will be confirmed only after completion of all formalities and verification.
Important Advisory
Authorities have advised candidates to strictly follow the counselling timeline, as no extensions are expected. Failure to report within the specified period may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
