The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, has released the tentative schedule for Round 1 of counselling for WB NEET UG 2026 admissions to State Quota, Private Management Quota, and NRI Quota seats in medical colleges across West Bengal. The notice was issued by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) on August 11, 2026.

Important points for candidates:
- Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible to register for this counselling round.
- For Private Medical Colleges, the reporting and admission process will take place at designated Government Medical Colleges in Kolkata; a separate notice regarding venues will be published on the official website.
- For Private Dental Colleges, reporting will be conducted at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College.
- Candidates must carry all original documents, requisite college fee, and bond at the time of physical document verification for admission confirmation.
- The schedule has been signed by the Director of Medical Education and Chairman, West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee.
