CMC Ludhiana Round 2 MBBS/BDS Admission 2026: Online Verification Instructions

Christian Medical College (CMC) and CDC Ludhiana, Punjab, has released instructions for online document verification for candidates applying under the Christian Minority Category 2 with Service Commitment for MBBS/BDS admissions, session 2026. The notice was issued on September 5, 2026, by the Registrar on behalf of the UG Certificate Scrutiny Committee, CMC Ludhiana.

Background

As per the Round 2 schedule for UG Medical/Dental online Punjab State counselling under NEET UG-2026, published by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot on September 3, 2026, verification of minority status for Christian Minority Quota candidates will be conducted by CMC Ludhiana – entirely online.

Who Needs to Apply

All candidates applying to BFUHS under Christian Minority with Service Commitment (Category 2) must:

  1. Download the Online Document Verification Form.
  2. Fill in the required information correctly, including BFUHS Registration Number and NEET Score.
  3. Scan the filled form along with all original certificates and documents mentioned in the checklist.
  4. Upload the scanned documents to the common portal for Bible Test Application/Online Document Verification, or email them to registrar@cmcludhiana.in.

Deadline for submission: 7th September 2026, 10:00 AM

Note: Candidates who already got their minority status verified during the 1st round of counselling need not apply again.

Eligibility for Christian Minority Category 2 (Service Commitment)

To be considered for admission under this category, a candidate must have:

  1. Qualified UG NEET 2026.
  2. Applied for 2nd Counselling online to BFUHS, Faridkot, before the due date.
  3. Passed the Bible Test (held on 26 June 2026).
  4. Submitted the duly filled Online Document Verification form along with all required documents before the due date.

Documents marked with an asterisk () are mandatory to be uploaded during verification; others can be submitted at the time of reporting for admission.

Key Form Details

The verification form requires candidates to specify:

  • Course(s) applied for – MBBS, BDS, or MBBS & BDS (once ticked, the choice cannot be changed later)
  • Category (2A/2B/2C/2D/2E/2F/2G) for MBBS and BDS separately
  • Name of the Church/Member Body with whom the Service Agreement is being made
  • State from where the candidate passed 10+1 and 10+2

Candidates must also sign a self-declaration/undertaking confirming that if any false information or fake certificate is found at any stage, their admission will stand cancelled with no claim over the seat or fees paid.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • In addition to the above documents, candidates must also carry documents as specified by BFUHS, Faridkot, at the time of reporting to the college for admission.
  • Given the high volume of work during the admission and counselling period, candidates are advised to contact the Office of the Registrar in person or by phone, as email queries may not be addressed immediately.
  • Candidates are advised to keep monitoring the official website for any changes in dates.
