HP AMRU MBBS/BDS 2026 Round 1 Provisional Seat List Out

Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the Provisional Seat Allotment List for MBBS/BDS 1st Round Counselling 2026-27, based on NEET UG 2026 scores. The official notice was issued on August 27, 2026, by the Controller of Examinations (COE)-cum-Member Secretary of the Common Centralized and Prospectus Review Committee (MBBS/BDS Course), AMRU, HP.

Candidates who registered for Himachal Pradesh MBBS/BDS counselling 2026 can now check their provisional seat allotment status on the university’s official website, amruhp.ac.in.

Key Highlights of the Notice

• The provisional seat allotment list covers MBBS and BDS seats across various government and private medical/dental colleges affiliated with AMRU, Himachal Pradesh, including Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla, Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College Tanda Kangra, Dr RadhaKrishanan Government Medical College Hamirpur, Dr Yashwant Parmar Government Medical College Nahan Sirmour, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College Chamba, SLBS Government Medical College Nerchowk Mandi, H.P Government Dental College Shimla, and several private institutions such as Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College and Bhojia Dental College.
• Candidates who find any discrepancy in their merit position must report it to [email protected] before 5:00 PM on August 28, 2026.
• In compliance with a Supreme Court order in Civil Appeal No. 2026 (arising from SLP (C) No. 18686 of 2023 – Sanjana Thakur & Others), the National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved a supernumerary MBBS seat at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba, allotted as per the court’s directions.
• The university has clarified that the provisional allotment is indicative only and subject to change. Candidates cannot claim a right over the allotted seat based on provisional merit, and it cannot be challenged in a court of law.
• Candidates claiming benefits under a reserved category or quota must ensure all supporting certificates and documents are valid, updated, and submitted in the format prescribed in the AMRU Prospectus. Any discrepancy, outdated certificate, or missing document will disqualify the candidate from claiming that category benefit.
• The final eligibility and category claims of all candidates will be subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the respective institute.

2. Locate your name using your Application Number or Merit Number.
3. Cross-check the allotted institute, applied quota, category of application, and allotted seat category.

5. Prepare all category/quota certificates in the prescribed format ahead of the physical reporting and admission process.
