The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued a press communique further revising the schedule for the ongoing First Round of Online Counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 academic session. As per the notice dated 21 August 2026, the revision has been made in compliance with the direction issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, on 19 August 2026, regarding the extension of the 1st Round of UG State Counselling 2026.

- BHMS Seats: Seat details for the BHMS course have not yet been received from the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand. The Board will announce recommendations for BHMS once seat details are made available, based on the NEET UG-based State Merit List.
- Disability Certificates: As per Letter No. 09/Namankan-02-01/2023-507(9) dated 20.08.2026, the Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department has authorized Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi to issue disability certificates for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses for the 2026-27 session.
- Subsequent Rounds: The revised schedule for the 2nd, 3rd, and Stray Vacancy Rounds will be published in accordance with directions issued by the MCC for State Counselling.
- This notice modifies advertisements no. JCECEB/46/26-47 (dated 06.08.2026), JCECEB/46/26-52 (dated 08.08.2026), JCECEB/46/26-53 (dated 08.08.2026), and JCECEB/46/26-60 (dated 19.08.2026) to the extent mentioned above; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
