The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has rescheduled the First Phase State Counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under KEAM 2026. According to the official notification dated August 20, 2026, the option registration window, provisional allotment, and final allotment dates have all been revised in line with the updated Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) schedule.
KEAM 2026 Revised Counselling Schedule
As per the notification, candidates who have not yet registered their options can do so now, and those who have already registered can rearrange or delete their existing options if required.

Option Registration Now Open for PIMS Palakkad and 15% AIQ Dental Seats
The notification also states that the option registration facility is now available for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in self-financing dental colleges, irrespective of domicile. Additionally, Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Palakkad has been included in this phase of allotment for MBBS courses.
The provisional annual fee for PIMS Palakkad has been fixed at:
- General Category: Rs. 8,98,800/-
- NRI Category: Rs. 21,65,720/-
Important Note for Candidates with Withheld Results
Candidates whose results have been withheld due to various reasons can also register their online options for allotment. However, their options will not be considered unless they clear the defects and get their ranks released by 3:00 PM on 23 August 2026.
NRI Quota Document Defect Rectification Deadline
In a separate notification, CEE Kerala has also informed candidates under the NRI Quota (KEAM 2026) that they can verify their claims and rectify any defects in uploaded documents till 22 August 2026, 5:00 PM. This can be done by logging into the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal using the Application Number and Password, and checking the “Memo Details” section on the profile page. Candidates are advised not to send printouts of documents/certificates to the CEE office for any reservation or claim.
