Mumbai -The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has published the Provisional Merit List of registered candidates for MBBS/BDS Courses (Group A) of NEET-UG-2026, dated 18/08/2026.

  • Rank 1 on the list: Kudale Shravani Krishna (Female), NEET AI Rank 5, OBC-1 category, State candidature
  • Gender split: Approximately 20,238 female and 13,876 male candidates
  • Candidature type break-up: State candidature- 28,678; Both (State + OMS) – 4,227; OMS- 1,197
  • NRI category candidates: 1,630
  • PWD (Specified Reservation) candidates: D1- 642; D2- 191; D3 -122
  • Candidates with “converted” category status: 2,680 – reflecting candidates who sought category conversion (e.g., from OPEN to a reserved category)

Important Notes from the Official List

  • NRI candidature is subject to approval from the Association of Recognized Authority (ARA).
