Verification Deadline is on August 4, 2025, by 5:00 PM. Institutions must verify the Tentative/Provisional Vacancy Position displayed on the official MCC website- mcc.nic.in. Verification confirmation or correction requests must be sent via email to: [email protected]
Note: If no response is received from an institution by the deadline, MCC will treat the displayed seat matrix as final and accurate.
Important Guidelines for Institutions
- Colleges must log in using their College Login User ID to search and verify their seat matrix.
- Any discrepancy left unreported will not be entertained after the deadline, and MCC will not be held responsible for errors during choice filling or seat allotment.
- The verification process is mandatory for all institutions to maintain transparency, accuracy, and fairness in the NEET UG counselling process.
Once the verification is complete, MCC will:
- Finalize the seat matrix based on verified data
- Commence the MCC choice filling process for NEET UG 2025 candidates
- Publish the first round allotment results as per schedule
Any incorrect seat matrix entry, if unreported, may lead to admission conflicts, wasted preferences, or denial of legitimate claims by students.
“This verification step is crucial to ensure an error-free and smooth counselling process. Colleges are advised to respond within the stipulated time. Any delay or inaction will be deemed as acceptance of the displayed data,” reads the notice issued by the Office of the ADG (Medical Education Counselling), MCC.
This verification notice marks the last opportunity for institutions to ensure their seat data is accurate. With over 1.15 lakh MBBS seats expected in NEET UG 2025 across India, even minor errors in the matrix could have wide-reaching impacts on thousands of students.
