Free Exit Window for Round 1 Allotted Candidates
As per the notice, candidates who have already joined the provisionally allotted seat in Round 1 and wish to resign/surrender that seat are allowed to do so up to 13.09.2026, till 02:00 PM, with free exit. This means candidates surrendering within this window will not face any penalty, such as forfeiture of their security deposit.
How to Surrender the Allotted Seat
Candidates interested in surrendering their seat must follow this process:
- Submit an application for surrender of the allotted seat to the Principal of the concerned college.
- The concerned college will process the surrender on the online portal, so that the vacancy is automatically updated for Round 2.
- If a candidate fails to surrender the seat through the concerned college within the stipulated date and time, they will be treated as having joined the allotted seat.
What Happens After the Deadline
If a candidate wishes to resign/surrender the seat after 13.09.2026, 02:00 PM, the following will apply:
- Their Security Deposit shall be forfeited
- The rules/regulations applicable to Round-II of Online Counselling shall govern their case
Important Notes from BFUHS
- Any application/request for seat surrender received directly by the University shall not be considered under any circumstances.
- Any application submitted to the concerned college after the stipulated last date and time shall also not be accepted.
- All surrender applications must strictly go through the Principal of the concerned college and be processed via the online portal within the deadline.
