Conditions:
Students will receive the merit scholarship based on their performance in the qualifying exam, provided they meet the following conditions.
- They need to clear all subjects of their qualifying examination in the first attempt.
- This scholarship is applicable only for the first year. Students cannot apply for it in the following years.
- CGPA marks in the qualifying examination will not be rounded. For instance, if a student scores CGPA “8.99”, it will be considered as 8.99 and not rounded to 9. Similarly, if a student achieves 89.99%, it will not be rounded to 90.
Uttaranchal State Domicile Scholarship
Uttaranchal University offers a 26% scholarship on tuition fees to Uttarakhand Domicile students. Additionally, 40% of seats in the university program are reserved for these students. To claim this scholarship, students need to provide an original Uttarakhand State Domicile Certificate during admission or counseling.
Hills States Domicile Scholarship
Uttaranchal University provides a 26% scholarship on tuition fees to students from hill states of India such as Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, and the districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong in West Bengal.
Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls
Uttaranchal University offers a 5% Sushila Devi Scholarship for female students on the net tuition fee. This scholarship applies for the entire duration of the program. The scholarship percentage remains the same for both “Uttarakhand” and All India category students.
Scholarship to the Alumni
The Uttaranchal University awards a 10% scholarship on net Tuition Fee to the Alumni for the first year only. To claim this scholarship, the student must carry the following documents at the time of admission/counselling.
General Condition:
- The student must provide an Aadhar card or any valid photo ID proof bearing the name of the parent.
- The student needs to submit the mark sheet or certificate from Class 10 onwards that includes the names of the parents of the siblings.
Scholarship to the Wards of Defence Personnel
Uttaranchal University provides a 5% scholarship on the net tuition fee to the children of defence personnel, including Para Military such as ITBP, CRPF, etc., for the entire duration of the program. To avail this scholarship, students need to present an original certificate of their father or mother during admission or counseling.
In case of serving Defence Personnel
- Dependent’s card issued to the servicemen/A certificate issued by the Unit Head/C.O. of the servicemen.
- ID card of the servicemen
- ID/Aadhaar card of the student
In case of retired Defence Personnel
- Discharge certificate of the servicemen
- ID card of the Ex-Servicemen
- ID/Aadhaar card of the student
In case of deceased Defence Personnel in combat
- Dependent’s card issued to the servicemen/A certificate issued by the Unit Head /C.O. of the servicemen
- ID/Aadhaar card of the student
Scholarship to the Sibling
Uttaranchal University grants a 10% scholarship on the net tuition fee to siblings for the first year only. To claim this scholarship, students must bring the following documents during admission or counseling.
- The student needs to provide an Aadhaar card or any valid photo ID proof showing the parent’s name.
- The student must submit the mark sheet or certificate from Class 10 onwards, which includes the names of the parents of the sibling.
