The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the notice regarding the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC)-2025 for MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc & A.H. courses in government and private colleges of Bihar.
The board has announced updates to the Round-2 Online Counselling process following additional seat approvals and category corrections.
Key Highlights of the Notification
- Seat Increase:
- Madhubani Medical College (MMC): 100 seats added
- NSMC&H, Bihta (Patna): 50 seats added
- HMC&H, Paliganj (Patna): 50 seats added
- Category Correction:
A total of 49 candidates, including 22 from SC category, have been shifted to Unreserved (UR) category after discrepancies were found. Their Round-1 seat allotments have been cancelled, and the vacated seats will be available for Round-2 allotment. - Fee Payment for Affected Candidates:
Candidates whose category has been changed to UR must pay the revised Counselling Fee + Security Deposit online to remain eligible for Round-2. The previously paid amount will be refunded via the same mode. - Choice Filling Advice:
Candidates are strongly advised to fill in maximum possible choices since virtual vacancies may arise due to seat upgradation. - Revised Round-2 Counselling Schedule

How to Apply for Round-2 Counselling
- Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and log in with your UGMAC 2025 credentials.
- Open the Round-2 Counselling link and check updated vacancies.
- Modify or fill new choices as per your preference.
- Lock your choices before the deadline (18 September 2025).
- Wait for the Round-2 seat allotment result (to be announced on the website).
Note: All previous rules and conditions remain the same.
