KEA UGNEET 2026 Choice Filling Date Extended

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the option entry date for UGNEET-2026 Admission to Medical and Dental Courses, under Notice No. ED/KEA/ADMN/CR-11/2026, dated September 9, 2026.

Revised Option Entry Deadline

As per the notice, the date for option entry has been extended up to 10th September 2026, 9:30 AM. Candidates can use this extended window to modify, alter, or delete options – if not required – for the second round seat allotment for admission to Medical and Dental Courses, in accordance with the applicable norms.

New Seat Matrix Added: Bagalkote Medical College

The notice also informs candidates that the Government has issued the seat matrix for Bagalkote Medical College and Research, Bagalkote (a new Government college). This seat matrix has already been hosted on the KEA website on 07-09-2026, and interested and eligible candidates can now add options for this newly added college during the extended option entry period.

Important Notes for Candidates (As Per KEA)

KEA has issued the following key instructions for candidates participating in Round 2 option entry:

1. Compulsory login: Candidates must compulsorily log in to the login portal on or before the last prescribed date to enter options for the second round, prioritize their options, save, and submit them.
2. Seat changes possible: Seats that get cancelled, forfeited, or newly added, if any, will also be published from time to time. Candidates are advised to keep checking the KEA website for updates on seat availability.
3. Consequential vacancy: Seats will be considered for allotment as a result of any consequential vacancy that may arise during the seat allotment process. Therefore, candidates are advised to retain all options they are interested in, irrespective of the seats currently shown in the seat matrix.
4. Preserve the printout: Candidates are advised to preserve the printout of the finally submitted options.
