Maharashtra NEET UG 2026: CAP Round 3 Joining Deadline Today

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the last date for joining allotted colleges under CAP Round 3 for MBBS and BDS courses (Group A) for the academic year 2026-27. The extension was announced in Notice No. 26 for NEET UG 2026, dated October 15, 2026.

What the Notice Says

The last date for reporting to the allotted college through CAP Round 3 was October 14, 2026. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has since extended its reporting deadline for CAP Round 3 up to October 16, 2026. In line with this, the Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the joining deadline for MBBS and BDS (Group A) candidates up to 3:00 PM on October 16, 2026.

Stray Vacancy Round Schedule Cancelled

The CET Cell has also said that the schedule for the Online Stray Vacancy Round(s), published earlier in Notice No. 23 dated October 12, 2026, stands cancelled. The revised schedule for the stray vacancy rounds will be published soon.

What Candidates Should Do

1. Candidates allotted a seat in CAP Round 3 should report to their allotted college before 3:00 PM on October 16, 2026, since the deadline falls today.
2. Carry all original documents and fee payment proof required for admission.
3. Do not follow the earlier stray vacancy round dates from Notice No. 23, as that schedule is cancelled.
4. Keep checking the official website, www.mahacet.org, for the revised stray vacancy round schedule.
