New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the reopening of the registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) 2025. Eligible candidates who will complete their internship between April 1 and June 30, 2025, can submit their online applications from April 3 to April 6, 2025.
NBEMS will provide the application editing window from April 9, 2025, allowing candidates to modify their submitted forms. The board will release the admit card on April 15, 2025, ahead of the scheduled exam. To help candidates familiarise themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, NBEMS will provide a demo test on its official website, which will be accessible from April 9, 2025.
NEET MDS is a one-window entrance exam for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses in all Indian universities and institutes. To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized Indian institute or university as well as be registered with the State Dental Council. In addition, candidates must have either provisional or permanent registration and must also have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship from a recognized dental college. Current students who are doing their 12-month internship and will complete it by June 30, 2025, are also eligible to apply.
NBEMS will conduct the NEET MDS 2025 exam in a computer-based test format at multiple exam centres across India on April 19, 2025. The result is expected to be declared by May 19, 2025.
