UP NEET MBBS Cut-Off 2025: Rises in 3 Govt Colleges, Drops for KGMU and Others

In 2023, King George's Medical University, Lucknow had the highest NEET cut-off rank of 1800 for MBBS admissions, but last year, the rank dropped to 2059 for the general category.

New Delhi: With 35 government medical colleges offering 4,303 MBBS seats, Uttar Pradesh currently ranks second in India. The state has consistently produced the highest number of NEET-registered and qualified MBBS candidates over the past three years.

The BJP government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has made significant strides toward its ambitious goal of “One District, One Medical College.” Just last year, the government inaugurated 17 new government medical colleges, increasing the total to 18.

According to the Chief Minister, medical facilities are now available in nearly 64 districts across the state. In addition to government institutions, Uttar Pradesh also hosts 33 private medical colleges, collectively offering approximately 5,600 MBBS seats.
