What does the provisional list contain?

The list is titled “Provisional Seat Allocation of MBBS/BDS 3rd Round Counselling 2026-27” and lists 177 candidates, in merit order from merit number 129 to 2985. For each candidate it shows:

• Serial number, merit number and application number
• Name of the student
• Allotted institute
• Applied quota and applied category
• Allotted quota and category

Seats are allotted under the HP Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota. Applied categories include General, OBC, SC, ST, Economically Weaker Sections, Wards/Wives of Defence Personnel, Widows/Wards of Ex-Servicemen, Single Girl Child, Backward Area and Physically Handicapped.

Important instructions from AMRU

• The provisional allocation is only indicative and subject to change.
• Candidates cannot claim any right over the allotted seat on the basis of the provisional list, and it cannot be challenged before a court of law.
• Candidates claiming any reserved category or quota benefit must make sure their certificates and documents are valid, updated and in the prescribed format given in the Prospectus.
• Candidates should get certificates updated or prepared in the prescribed format, where required, before the admission process begins.
• If there is any discrepancy, an outdated or invalid certificate, or the prescribed document is not submitted, the candidate will not be entitled to the benefit of the respective category or quota.
• Provisional allotment does not confer any right of admission. The final eligibility and category claim are subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
• Candidates should approach the allotted college only after the Final Seat Allocation and after downloading the provisional allotment letter from their login.
• Admission will not be considered without seat allocation by AMRU.

2. Email any discrepancy to counselling.amruhp@gmail.com before 11:00 AM on 15 October 2026.
3. Check that your category and quota certificates are valid and in the prescribed format.
4. Download the provisional allotment letter from your candidate login.
5. Report to the allotted college only after the Final Seat Allocation.
