Eligibility Criteria
Jharkhand Ayush NEET Online Application Forms are invited for preparing the State Merit List for conducting the Counselling for admission in different courses, i.e. Ayush Colleges/Institutes of Jharkhand State, from candidates who have qualified NEET (UG) & fulfil the following eligibility criteria:-

| Particulars | Description |
| Residential Criteria | The Candidate must be a citizen of India and a Local/Permanent resident of Jharkhand. The “Local Resident of Jharkhand” has been defined & identified in 7/Aa. Niti (Sarvdaliaye Baithak) 27/2002 (Khand)ka.-3198/, dated 18.04.2016 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department, Govt. of Jharkhand. A candidate must upload a Local Resident Certificate in the proper format, issued by the competent authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State]. The Notification copy is available under the Downloads column on the Board’s website. The Residential Certificate issued by any authority other than the prescribed format will not be entertained, and their claim will be rejected. The Local Resident certificate format is available under Act & Circulars column on Board’s website. |
| Reservation on a Caste Basis | The current reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed for admission to Institutes. Candidates claiming reservation must upload a caste certificate in the proper format, issued by the competent authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer — (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State]. The caste certificate issued by any other authority and in other than the prescribed format will not be entertained for claiming reservation, and their claim for reservation will be rejected. Letter no. 14/Ja.Ni.-03-13/2015/Ka.-1754 dated 25.02.2019 of Deptt. The concerned Memorandum is uploaded on the Board’s Website. While filling up the online application form, the eligible candidates from the reserved Category/Quota should claim the benefits of reservation only when they already possess the concerned certificate issued in the proper format by the competent authority. |

Jharkhand Ayush NEET Counselling Process

Following is the procedure that shows how Jharkhand Ayush Counselling takes place in an organised manner:-

Note: Those who failed to get admission in 1st round of counselling can go for 2nd round of counselling as per the stated norms.
AIQ Counselling Process
Candidates applying for Ayush Colleges in Jharkhand must register for the NEET Ayush counselling. Counselling of NEET for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds online. The counselling will consist of these steps.
- Candidate Registration: Register on the official website.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and lock in the preferences in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacant seats and candidates’ choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1 mentioned above.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1 mentioned above.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) Will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the order made by the supreme court of India.
