Reporting Time and Entry Rules

Candidates must reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Late entry will not be allowed under any circumstances. It is advisable to plan travel in advance to avoid delays.

Documents Required

Candidates must carry the following documents:

  • Printed copy of the NEET UG 2026 admit card
  • Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID)
  • Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form)

Entry will not be permitted without these documents.

Dress Code Guidelines

Candidates should wear light clothes with short sleeves. Heavy clothing and accessories should be avoided. Slippers or sandals are recommended. Candidates wearing cultural or religious attire may be subject to additional security checks.

NEET UG Exam Day Instructions & Documents required

  • No documents without NEET admit card 2026 and photographs will be authorized inside the exam hall.
  • For the advantage of applicants, the invigilators will announce the time:
  • In the beginning
  • In half-time
  • At the end of the exam
  • Applicants will be required to sign the answer sheet at the beginning of the NEET 2026 exam and then after the end of the exam.
  • Applicants will be needed to give their finger impressions on the attendance sheet.
  • To fill in the detailed information on the test booklet, applicants will be given the test booklet 15 minutes before the exam.
  • Applicants will be provided with a ballpoint pen in the exam hall to write the exam.
  • To check the number of pages in the booklet, applicants will be provided with five minutes to open the seal of the test booklet right before the start of the test.
  • Applicants must secure that the code written on the test booklet is related to the one provided on the answer sheet inserted in the test booklet.
  • Applicants will have to fill in the features on either side of the OMR answer sheet.
  • It is compulsory to submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly not allowed inside the exam centre:

  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic devices
  • Calculators or Bluetooth devices
  • Notes, papers, or study material
  • Bags, wallets, or any unauthorized items

Possession of any prohibited item may lead to disqualification.

Inside the Examination Hall

Candidates must follow all instructions given by invigilators. Any form of unfair means or misconduct will lead to strict action. Maintain discipline throughout the examination.

Security and Verification

Biometric verification and frisking will be conducted at the exam centre. Candidates must cooperate with the authorities for a smooth entry process.
