Punjab Ayush NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- The admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified for NEET UG and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s).
- Merely applying for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses based on NEET-UG will not entitle the Candidates to be eligible; eligibility and Merit of a candidate for admission will be determined by the Selection Committee strictly as per rules and regulations laid down in the Punjab Govt. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and all other such documents as are required with the Admission Application Form.
- The Admission/Selection Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
- Age as per NEET-UG.
Instructions for Filling up the Online Admission Application Form
- Candidates must log on University website, i.e. www.graupunjab.org, and carefully read the Punjab Govt. notification and instructions contained in the Prospectus.
- NEET-UG qualified candidates can apply ONLINE for admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Courses.
- Candidates must register themselves for admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Courses through the online registration system at the GRAU website, i.e. www.graupunjab.org. Online registration must be completed by the due date and time.
- Candidates must complete the online admission application form well in advance to avoid network congestion in the last few days. GRAU will not be responsible for network congestion/problems. No request for accepting the forms after the cut-off date will be entertained.
- The following documents are required to upload on the online registration form:
- Soft copy of the Photograph of the candidate. (Maximum size 30 KB)
- II. Soft copy of the signatures of the candidate. (Maximum Size 30 KB)
6. Specifications for Photograph:–
- A coloured photograph of a minimum of 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face & head of the candidate.
- A caption indicating the candidate’s name and the date of taking a photograph should be there at the bottom of the photo.
- The photograph should be taken on a white /very light-coloured background.
- The photograph should not have caps or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER-generated photos are not acceptable.
- The photograph needs to display a full front view of the face. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
- Please avoid photographs with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
- The photograph must be printed on high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolution.
- The colours must possess a natural appearance and skin tone.
- The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
Note: Applications not complying with these instructions or unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
- After completing the online admission application form, University will issue a unique Registration ID (i.e. Login ID), and a password will be provided to the candidate at his/her registered Mobile number in the admission application form through SMS/ email. Registration Number and password are mandatory for further process, so keep it secret and don’t disclose to any unknown person.
- Merely submitting of online application form & fee does not confer any automatic rights to secure a BAMS/BHMS/BUMS seat.
- Please visit GRAU, Hoshiarpur website www.graupunjab.org for all regular and updated information concerning admissions/Date of counselling from time to time.
- No request for submitting an online application after the due date/time will be entertained on any grounds.
- Candidate shall fill online ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM only once. Applications submitted more than once are liable to be rejected.
- Candidates must fill out the online admission application form carefully and not leave any column blank; fill ‘0’ (zero) in case Roll Number/Rank/Marks are unavailable.
- Depositing Fee: – After filling out the successful online admission application form, Candidates will have to deposit the fee through a payment gateway using a Debit Card/Credit card/Net Banking.
- Take the printout of the online filled admission application form.
- Fill in category (ies) carefully in the online admission application form. Category (ies), once claimed, will not be changed in any case after submitting the form.
- Those candidates, who will not fill/claim any category code as per the prospectus or wrongly filled category code other than mentioned in the prospectus, will be treated as Open/General Category candidates. The candidate may select a category code from the codes on the and fill in the category accordingly. A candidate may fill multiple categories if it applies to their case. Category codes are exclusive to facilitate the candidates to know and understand his/her respective merit placement at the time of counselling in various reserved categories as might have been filled by him/her. Reserved category selection on the part of the candidate shall not, in any case, be construed to give him/her any legitimacy or right or claim on the benefits for reserved seats during admission. Claims to admissions against reserved seats in BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses will be based on appropriate claims made in the Admission Application Form subject to rules and regulations contained in the Punjab Government Notifications printed in Part-B of this prospectus and as per the decisions of the Selection Committee constituted for this purpose by the Punjab Government. No benefit of reservation whatsoever shall be given if the claim is not made in the Admission Application Form.

Step for Online Counselling
- NEET-qualified candidates shall visit the University website, i.e. www.graupunjab.org, and complete the online registration form carefully within the stipulated date & time. After successfully registering the applicant, a unique Registration ID (i.e. Login ID) and password will be allotted to the candidate at his/her registered Mobile No. Or email through SMS or by email. Registration ID and password are mandatory for further process, so keep it secret and don’t disclose it to any unknown person.
- Registration Fee for State Quota Candidates is Rs. 4,600/- (Rs. 3750/- for SC/ST candidates), and for All India Quota candidates is Rs. 2,000/-
- The candidate has to deposit the requisite fee through Payment Gateway using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
- Only registered candidates are eligible for the counselling(s); without registration, none are allowed.

- Candidates can fill in their institutional preferences for getting seats in the 1st round of counselling.

The candidate has to report to his/her respective college for checking of eligibility, document verification and medical checkup. The candidates are required to produce his/her original documents/credentials for verification.
- After verifying the documents and checking eligibility, the candidate will deposit the fee in the shape of a demand draft of a nationalized bank in favour of Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, payable at Hoshiarpur.
