Gujarat Ayush NEET Counselling: Every year, thousands of NEET-UG qualified students in Gujarat apply for admission to Ayush courses – BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS – through a centralized state counselling process. This counselling is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC), and admission is based purely on NEET-UG scores; there is no separate entrance test for Ayush courses in Gujarat.

Gujarat Ayush NEET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Qualifying Exam	Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board.
Minimum Qualifying Marks	General: 50% in PCB; SC/ST/OBC: 40%; PwD (General): 45% in PCB.
NEET Qualification	Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 with the prescribed cutoff percentile.
Nationality	Indian citizens, NRIs, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and eligible foreign nationals as per government rules.
Age Limit	Minimum 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2026. There is no upper age limit as per current NEET UG guidelines.
Domicile	Gujarat domicile may be required for admission to state quota seats. Non-domicile candidates can apply for seats where eligible under ACPUGMEC rules.
Medical Fitness	Candidates must be medically fit as per the norms prescribed by the counselling authority.
Document Verification	Original documents must be produced during the counselling and admission process.

Candidates who don’t meet the Gujarat state quota criteria may still be eligible to apply for Management Quota or NRI Quota seats in private Ayush colleges, subject to ACPUGMEC’s counselling guidelines.

• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Class X Certificate and Marksheet
• Class XII Certificate and Marksheet
• 8 passport-size photographs (same as used on the application form)
• Provisional Allotment Letter (generated online)
• Proof of Identity (e.g., Aadhaar card, passport)
• OCI Card (only for Overseas Citizens of India)
