Qualifying Entrance exam | The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination. For NRI: The candidate should have appeared in the NEET-UG-2021 examination and have been declared “Qualified”. |
Educational Qualification | The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English are the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates. For NRI: The candidate must have obtained minimum qualifying marks in 12th Standard as per the regulatory Council. |
Domicile | Aspirants must have the domicile of Gujarat. For NRI: (i) A candidate shall be a Non-Resident Indian, or (ii) Their parents or in the absence of their parents, their legal guardian shall be Non-Resident India. |
Age Criteria | The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of 31-12-2021. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2004 are not eligible for admission into MBBS, BDS Courses. For NRI: A candidate shall have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st December of the Academic Year for the admissions. |

Gujarat Ayush NEET Counselling Process
- PIN for online registration can be purchased through online payment of Rs. 200/- from the website (www.medadmgujarat.org)
- After successfully online registration, candidates have to take prior appointment for the Documents Verification and Submission of self-attested photocopies of Documents at Help Center. Candidates themselves can select the Date and Help Center for Documents verification when printing the Registration Slip.
- For Local Quota: Candidates who want to apply in Local Quota Seats of Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad or Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research, Surat. In addition to online registration, candidates must obtain a certificate that he/she is a local student of Ahmedabad/Surat city from the Dean of the respective institute, for this candidate has to contact the respective college.
- For NRI Candidates only: After online application, they have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 10,000/- in favour of ‘ACPUGMEC, payable at Gandhinagar’ as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only.
- Any guidance about registration or further process mentioned in the registration slip (if applicable) candidate must visit the help centre. The list of help centre is mentioned on the website of the admission committee, www.medadmgujarat.org.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)
Candidates applying for BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Colleges in Gujarat must register for the Ayush NEET counselling 2021. Counselling of NEET 2021 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

- Candidate Registration: Register to the official website(http://www.medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx).
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.
Types of Seats are Available for admission
There are three types of seats available for admission, as follows:

- Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination to qualify for further admission process.
